What Is PTSA?

Newfane PTSA is a volunteer group whose success and effectiveness depends on YOU!  In joining PTSA, you add your support as a voice for our children by communicating and partnering with school and community to make our children’s environment the best it can be.

Membership in Newfane PTSA is open to anyone concerned with the education, health and welfare of children and youth. We encourage everyone – parents, grandparents and friends - to join. As a PTSA, our membership includes students.  As a member of our local Newfane PTSA unit, you also become a voting member of the New York State PTA and the National PTA. A not-for-profit organization, PTA unites 4 million+   parents, educators and community members whose primary goal is the well-being of children.  Our connection with the NYS and National PTA keeps us informed of current legislative issues affecting our children and provides information, knowledge, support, and training. A portion of your local membership dues is sent to Albany to help support the larger PTA organizations.

or starting July 1

General membership meetings are held at least three times a year and are publicized well in advance.  But all members are invited to attend any monthly meeting.

PTSA meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month with the exception of school holidays in the Newfane High School Conference Room at 6:30 pm. Mark these meeting dates on your calendar.
