NECC / UPK Relocation - Same Programs, Different Address

Posted Date: 5/21/25 (4:27 PM)

We are writing to inform you of an exciting change coming in September 2025 that will maintain the quality and enhance the efficiency of our educational services. Beginning in the 2025–2026 school year, our Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program and Business Offices will be relocated to the former Newfane Intermediate School location on East Avenue in the Village of Newfane.

This strategic move comes with several important benefits for our students, families, and the broader Newfane community:

Continued Partnership with O/N BOCES: The relocation allows us to maintain and strengthen our valued partnership with Orleans/Niagara BOCES. As BOCES expands to occupy an entire district building, our lease agreement with them will increase district revenue.
More Efficient Use of District Resources: By consolidating our operational footprint to match current and projected student enrollment, we are ensuring responsible stewardship of our facilities while positioning ourselves for the future.
Centrally Located Services: With both our UPK program and central offices now located in town, families will benefit from greater convenience and accessibility.
Sustained Quality Programming: Our commitment to providing a high-quality UPK experience remains unchanged, and this transition supports continued excellence in early childhood education.
Operational Efficiencies: The move enables us to redeploy some of our operational staff to better support students and schools.

We are confident that this change will maintain the quality educational experiences for our youngest learners and enhance service delivery districtwide. As always, we are grateful for your continued support and partnership.

Should you have any questions or wish to learn more about this transition, please don’t hesitate to contact the District Office.
