Physical Education Excuses

All pupils are REQUIRED to participate in the physical education program in school. If it is necessary for your child to be excused from gym, please comply with the following: 

Single Excuse: pupils are to present a note to to the school nurse from their parents requesting the child be excused and indicating the reason. 

Extended Excuse: if an excuse is necessary for longer than one week a note from the doctor is required indicating the reason and expected duration.

Please note: In some instances when a child is returning to school following an extended illness or injury, a note must be obtained from the physician allowing your child to resume gym activities.
