    We are very excited to announce the creation of the Newfane Athletic Hall of Fame! The NAHF will seek to recognize outstanding individual athletes, long-tenured coaches, teams that achieved at the highest level, and those who have made important and valuable contributions to Newfane Athletics in other capacities. Nominations will be accepted until June 1st, 2020 with the inaugural class of inductees to be announced in July 2020.

    Criteria for nomination:

    Individual Athlete:

    • Must have attended and/or graduated Newfane High School 
    • Must have graduated at least ten (10) years ago
    • Achieved at the highest level in respective sport(s) ex: All League honors, Player of the Year, All Western New York, All State honors
    • Made a significant contribution to his/her team(s)
    • Represented Newfane in a positive way

    Coach

    • Must have coached fifteen (15) years in the same sport at Newfane (does not need to be at the varsity level)
    • Must have left most recent coaching assignment at Newfane at least five (5) years ago
    • Helped his/her teams achieved at the highest level in respective sport(s)
    • Made a significant contribution to his/her team(s)
    • Represented Newfane in a positive way

    Team

    • Won a sectional championship, won a state championship, or participated in the state finals
    • Ten years removed from championship season

    Contributor

    • Made outstanding contributions or offered extraordinary services to the students/athletes and the athletic program at Newfane
    • Can be: administrator, community member, parent, booster member, announcer, supervisor, donor, volunteer coach, other
    • If previous employee of NCSD, must have been retired at least 5 years
    • Does not need to be a graduate
