• May 12 - New materials for all grade levels have been posted in each class tab. 

    K-1 has worksheets that can be printed out and completed.  The worksheets have a great parent page included with many ideas to practice and reinforce the musical concepts. 

    2-4 has a bucket drumming lesson!  The lesson includes a link to music you can play your bucket along with. Have fun making music!

    I hope these materials help you to finish out the school year on a musical note!  

    Feel free to email me any pictures or videos of music being made with these materials or any way you are making music!  

    When you log in to google classroom, please check for an invite to my music google classroom - I have a google classroom for each grade level as well as 4th grade chorus and 4th grade band.  Just click Accept and you are in!  Hope to see you there!

  • April 14 - Virtual Music Field Trips!

    I have created an assignment with a list of links that will take you on virtual music field trips! You can access the assignment by clicking here. I have also linked the virtual field trip assignment to all of the grade level music class pages on my website as well.  Have fun and I would love to hear about which ones you explored!

  • New pages have been added!  To the left you will see new pages are now active for each music class by grade level.  Please check the pages weekly for new activities!  I have added the activities and worksheets that were sent home last week - links to the pieces on YouTube have been added as well for the K-1 glyphs.  More to come soon!

Mrs. Michelle Hart

Welcome!  My name is Mrs. Michelle Hart.  I teach K-4 music to each class at Newfane Elementary.  I also teach 4th grade instrumental lessons, band and chorus.  I taught at Newfane High School from 2002-2012 and Newfane Middle School from 2010-2016.  I began teaching at the Elementary School in 2016 and I am still enjoying this school very much! The school year is off to a wonderfully musical start and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year will bring.
