Please take the time to read to your child.  During the day, or at the end of a hectic day, make 5 minutes of quiet time to be with your child and read.  Your child's love and skill for reading will begin with you, and will last a lifetime.

Oh, what a wonderful journey you will begin with your child.  Imagine the places that reading and books will take your child; and it will all begin with you reading to your child in as little as five minutes a day. We have become an Ohana100 volunteer "Go Read" site.  Students also receive a book to encourage reading with you at home.
