Please make sure students have the lesson books for their specific instrument.  The books needed are: 

~ Sound Innovations for Concert Band, Book 1
~ Sound Innovations Ensemble Development for Young Concert Band 

The blue lesson book includes multimedia resources for students and parents. It includes videos, music to play along with, and pdf documents.  These are all wonderful resources to make practicing easier and fun!  Your code for activation is in the bottom left corner on the back of the lesson book (above the UPC code).  Here is a link to the website: SIOnline  

Please encourage students to practice at least 60 minutes a week.  Students can track practice time on their practice chart.  60 minutes + initialed chart = superstar sticker.  5 stickers = prize! 

Weekly practicing assignments can be found on this website by clicking on 4th Grade Instrumental Lesson Assignments on the left side of this page.  Assignments are updated no later than the morning after the lesson group met.  Assignments are also posted on the board in my room - students should check the board if they miss a lesson.

Our Spring Concert is June 3, 2020

• An assembly will be in the Elementary School Gym, 2:00 PM
• The evening concert is at 7:00 PM in the Middle School Auditorium
• Concert dress is white on top, black on bottom and is required for both performances
• A holiday colored accent/accessory is optional for our December concert.  Please no hats or tall headbands, lights, or sounds.
