About Mrs. Hathaway

Mrs. Hathaway is a certified NYS Elementary and Secondary Mathematics (7-12) teacher. She began her career here in 2006 after spending four years teaching incarcerated youth in Buffalo, NY. Her first six years in Newfane were spent teaching mathematics to middle and high school students. In 2012 Mrs. Hathaway transfers to a new position at the elementary school and began her role as Mathematics Specialist: providing support to teachers and students in all areas of common core mathematics. Currently, she is working as an Instructional Support Specialist for teachers in grades K-8.

Mrs.Hathaway lives in the town of Lockport with Mr. Hathaway their 3 children and their dog. She loves being outdoors in the spring & summer to play/watch baseball and relax in the pool. She loves family games nights and Friday family movie nights.
